Everything Changed

Everything changed the moment you met Him.

Didn’t it?

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. “, 2 Corinthians 5:17

The moment before was darkness and the moment after was light.

The moment before was death and the moment after was life.

In one moment, it all changed.

Your destiny went from hell to heaven, death to life, in an instant.

So, now that you believe, there’s really two “versions” of you.

A “BEFORE” version and an “AFTER” version.

They might look similar, they might not.

And that’s part of His process.

Maybe the BEFORE you was a great kid.

Straight A’s, good relationships, and the school athlete.

Maybe the BEFORE you wasn’t a great kid.

Rude, arrogant, and prideful.

But here’s the catch:

The BEFORE you is gone.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”, 2 Corinthians 5:17

New. Things. Have. Come.

You’re a completely new person.

Look, maybe you say the same words, act the same way, and don’t really feel like He’s made much of a difference in your life.
And that’s OK.

Because He HAS made a difference in your life.

Whether you see it or not.

Here’s my point:

Knowing God is a process.

We don’t run to Him once, twice, or even three times.

We run to Him always.

And every time we run to Him, we become more like Him.

And eternity changes.
