Meaning of Life

What are you doing with your life? How would your closest friends describe you as? Our lives on earth compared to eternity is ultimately meaningless. Did you know 73 (average life span) divided by infinity (eternal life) is equal to zero. That means that your life ultimately means nothing. This is crazy and impossible to comprehend.

What is the purpose of life if our lives are merely nothing. Why does our life here on earth matter so much? Are life here on earth means nothing to are existence yet it changes everything it decides are eternal destiny with or without God.

Are you with or against God? You are either for or against God. What are you? Are you in the middle? Are you living your lives for meaningless pleasure or for the kingdom of heaven? Do you really want your friends and family to live eternally separate from God? Does one little conversation really make that big of a difference in your life? The fact is it doesn’t, but it can determine someone’s fate in heaven.

Look yourself in the mirror does your life reflect the life of Jesus’ or does it reflect your own evil and selfish desires? How long will we continue to live for ourselves in our sin? How does doing this give us any advantage? Jesus God’s one and only son gave his life for you and how are you repaying him?

Are you repaying him with all your leftovers? Are you like the Jews that brought big sums of money, but they were only giving out of their wealth or are you like the widow who gave all she had. She gave out of her poverty not prosperity.

Are you repaying him with your leftover time? A prayer here or there when you need help or when you’re half asleep? Or are you repaying him with your best?

If you’re not repaying him with your best, why not? He gave us his best. God had every reason to damn us to hell. We betrayed him and continued to run from him after he gave us everything. everything we own.

In the Bible God describes as adulterers continuing to chase after other lovers, other gods, other pleasures, other distractions. Does your life look like this are you committing adultery against God?

God loves us with everything and how do we repay him? We ask for help then when we don’t get help, we scream and yell why God why would you do this to me? But we never ask why would we do this to God? We sin against God every day and he gave us everything we own.

Yet we act like it is ours not God’s and when he takes it from us, we can’t stand him. Jesus is standing at the door and knocking waiting to be let in. God is running out to us all we need to do is to let him in.
Are you ready to love God how he is loving you or are you going to continue to live life with no aim or purpose?
