God loves you

He. Loves. You.

Get that in your brain.

He. Loves You.

No matter what you do, no matter what you think, He loves you.

No matter where you are, no matter who you’re with, He loves you.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, Romans 8:38

There are so many songs about His love.

“Your Love is better than life…”

“In Your strong love, ohhh…”

“Oh! How He loves us so, oh, How he loves us, how He loves us, so…”

It's so easy to hear, in fact, it's probably the easiest thing in the world to hear.

But it might be the hardest thing in the world to actually understand.

Because, simply put, we can’t.

We’ll never really be able to understand the full measure of His love.

Not on this side of eternity anyway.

But think about it!

A God that threw the stars into their places,

A God that wove the universe with His bare hands,

A God that made every atom, every proton, every quark, every “string”

He chose you out of all creation to love.

He chose to send His son to earth to die on a cross, so you could be with Him,

Forever.
For context, there are several billion people on the earth right now,

And if God picked OVER A BILLION people to love, to send His son to die for,

Chances are that you wouldn’t make it.

But He didnt say that,

He said this: But now, this is what the LORD says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1

Remember that.

“...you are mine.”
